Ever since I was little, I’ve always loved creative projects, starting with oil painting when I was very little, and continuing when I picked up Photoshop (Version 3.0!) for the first time when I was around 11 in the 5th grade. I gradually increased my skills in photomanipulation/Photoshop by entering too many weird and random Photoshop competitions in middle school. After picking up Illustrator and InDesign early on in high school, I began producing more serious work in graphic design.
I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2016 with a degree in Public Policy with a specialization in Cinema & Media Studies, and have since expanded my creative endeavors to include photography, and more recently, filmmaking. When I’m not creating visual works or studying, I enjoy organizing TEDxUChicago events, performing/choreographing Indian folk dances, watching live theatre, and assuring myself that binge-watching Netflix shows will somehow enhance my creativity.
